Beef
Marinade
300g
beef, thin slices

tbsp. dark soy sauce
2 tsp.
soy sauce
½ tsp.
sugar
2
tbsp. oil
5
shallots, quartered
2 garlic,
sliced
1 inch
ginger, sliced
3
dried red chillies
¼ cup
BBQ sauce
1
tbsp. dark soy sauce
1 cup
water
Salt
and sugar
METHOD
1.
Marinate beef with dark soy sauce, soy sauce and sugar for 10 minutes.
2.
Heat oil and fry shallots, garlic, ginger and dried red chillies for 2 – 3
minutes until fragrant.
3.
Sauté marinated beef until it is no longer pink and all the juices dried up.
4. Add
in BBQ sauce, dark soy sauce and water. Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes, or
until beef is tender. Season with salt and sugar to taste.
